Principle: as little as possible
This website works without tracking, without analytics tools, without embedded third-party content and without cookies that would require consent. Fonts and scripts are served from our own server; no connection is made to external content delivery networks. That is also why there is no cookie banner here.
The only cookie set is a technically necessary session cookie. It protects the sign-up form against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) and expires when the browser is closed. The legal basis is § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG.
Server log files
When you access the site, technically necessary data is stored in log files: the page requested, the time, the amount of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system, referring page and the IP address in shortened form. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website. Deletion takes place after 7 days.
Requesting the discount code (email sign-up)
When you request the discount code we process your email address, the language of the page you used and the page the request came from. Sign-up uses the double opt-in procedure: you first receive a confirmation email; only after your click do we store the sign-up as confirmed and send the code and the guide.
To evidence consent we additionally store the time of sign-up, the time of confirmation and the IP address used at confirmation in shortened form. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 7(2) no. 3 of the German Act Against Unfair Competition.
You can withdraw consent at any time — informally by replying to one of our emails or by writing to info@der-ki-telefonassistent.de. After withdrawal we delete the address; evidence relating to the original consent is retained for as long as necessary to defend against claims.
Email delivery
We use the Transactional Email service of Scaleway SAS, France, for delivery. Processing takes place within the European Union and a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place. We do not track opens or clicks in our emails.
Partner links
Links to the provider Fonio contain a partner identifier so that a registration originating from this site can be attributed to us. Clicking such a link takes you off this website; the provider is responsible for the subsequent processing. The legal basis for the attribution is our legitimate interest in accounting for referred registrations (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Hosting
The website is operated by We Manage GmbH (we-manage.de). The underlying infrastructure is provided by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany (hetzner.com), in a data centre located in Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.
